Regular Council. 3/21/OS Page 1 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL March 21, 2005 Mayfield Village Community Room The Council of Mayfield Village met in regular session on Monday, March 21, 2005, at 8:09 p.m. in the Mayfield Village Senior Center/Community Room. Council President Buckholtz called the meeting to order. ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Marrie, Mrs. Mills, and Mr. Saponaro Absent: Dr. Parker Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Chapman, Chief Dearden, Mr. Marrelli, Mr. Metzung, Chief Mohr, Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Roman The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. 5-minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state their name and address. Council President Buckholtz said thanks; actually we've been looking at that; the issue has been raised. Marge Eisenberg, 6782 Seneca Road said last year my husband and I went through Beachwood around Labor Day and they had Family Days and everybody was able to swim. I would like to request that we extend our Family Days and our pool. I noticed our pool closes very early. I think we could get someone to man the pool from Cleveland State or Case Western Reserve and we could keep our pool open until at least Labor Day. That would be nice for the children and everyone. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES: Regular Council Meeting - Februarv 21, 2005 Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve the minutes. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Minutes Approved COIVIMENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER Mayor Rinker expressed wishes for a happy spring. Bill Marquardt is the proud grandfather of a young granddaughter. I have some sad news as well. We just found out today that Susan Harrison's father passed away suddenly. Donna has sent around a notice. The wake is tomorrow from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Fioritto Funeral Home.
