MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL
Mayfield Village
September 24, 2001
The Council of Mayfield Village met in regular session on Monday, September 24, 2001 at
8:00 p.m. in the Mayfield Village Senior Center/Community Room. Council President Bill
Marquardt presided.
ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ilacqua,
Mr. Marquardt and Mrs. Mills
Absent: Dr. Parker
Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Diemert,
Mr. Metzung, Lt. Porter, Mr. Samac, Chief Stevens, Mr. Thomas
and Mrs. Roman
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given.
OPEN PORTION
Tom West, 773 Village Circle - said at your last meeting we talked about coming up with an idea
of what we would like to see happen with the N.E.O.R.S.D. pumping station that was added to
our circle without too much conversation. He said it looks like a small industrial building and
circulated pictures. We are suggesting that the exterior be changed to a stone fagade that just
glues on (like a mural-type stone) and, more importantly, changing the pitch of the roof and
putting it in slate or something that is more consistent with the architecture of the entire area. If
someone would have come to you and asked to put a roof pitched like that on Village Circle, you
would have, of course, shot it down. We are asking for your assistance in having somebody take
care of this for us. He said he would be happy to answer questions and has extra pictures.
Mr. Samac asked for copies of the pictures. He will get back to Mr. West.
Council President Marquardt asked if there were any further comments.
There were none.
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Regular Council Meeting - August 13, 2001 - Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua, made a
motion to approve the minutes.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Minutes Approved
