No signage is being presented at this time. <br />R. Bierman moved to approve the proposal to convert dwelling to office <br />building at 29732.Lorain Road subject to the forester's recommendations <br />and Engineering's approval of retention of the paved parking lot, <br />seconded by J. Thomas, and unanimously approved. <br />4) Red Lobster Inns of America, 24001 Lorain Road. <br />Proposal to install windaws and awnings. (Heard by Architectural Board <br />of Review April 22, 1987). <br />Mr. Richards, representing Red Lobster, explained plans for bright blue <br />awnings and canopy and windows. White letters will be installed on <br />canopy and Actirig Building Commissioner Sanker advised that the signage <br />conforms to the ordinance. M. Betts moved to.approve the renovation to <br />install windows and.awnings at Red Lobster at 24001 Lorain Road subject <br />to the provision that the sign con€o nns to city ordinance, seeonded by <br />R. Bierman, and unanimously approved. <br />5) P. J. McIntyre, 5821 Great Northern Mall <br />Proposal to install awnings on exterior of Great Northern'Mall. (Heard <br />by Architectural Board of Review April 22, 1987). <br />Acting Building Commissioner Sanker advised that he has withdrawn the <br />proposal on the-basis of a Law Department ruling that he was just made <br />? aware of in connection with another proposal. <br />6) Sopata Construction Co., 24834 Lorain Road. <br />: Proposal to construct garage behind.building. (Heard by Architectural <br />Board of Review April 22, 1987). <br />Mr.Sopata presented plans and stated that driveway is already in and <br />that he will just be adding an apron. City Engineer Schaller advised <br />that part of the garage is being built on top of the retention system <br />and that the Engineering Department will need some more details before <br />final approval. Mr. Sopata stated that the foundation is designed to <br />Span the retention system or dry well. J. Thomas moved to approve <br />construction of a garage behind the building.at 24834 Lorain Road subject <br />to the approval of the Engineering Department concerning the retention <br />basin over which the building is being constructed, seconded by R. Bierman, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />1) Hastings Drive Easement (Quinn) <br />The assemb ly plat for the realignment.of parcels 234-22-15 and 234-22-16 <br />on Hastings Drive was originally approved by Planning Commiss,ion on <br />July 8, 1986._ The proposal is to grant the 30.foot wide utility easement <br />as shown to the City. The area is zoned "B" residential <br />? 2)' Hastings- Drive Easement (Dunlap) ` <br />The proposal is to grant a 30 foot utility easement to the City on parcel . 234-22-24. The area is zone "B" residential and the easement will be contiguous to the easement proposed by.1Kr..Quinn.
