ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Burns callecl the meeting to order at 8:15 p.m. <br />Present: M. Betts, R. Bierman, T. Morgan, E. Traczyk, J. Tfiomas, and J. Burns <br />Absent: B. Gorris <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Consul.ting City Engineer <br />T. Boyle, Building Commissioner D. Conway, and Clerk of <br />Commissions B. Oring: <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MTNUTES: <br />J. Thomas moved to approve the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting <br />of September 8th, seconded by T.-Morgan, and.unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />1) Brennan Auto Body, 25044 Lorain Road <br />Exterior change to phase 2 of alteration. (Phases 1 and 2 originallv <br />approved by Planning Commission November 16, 1983): Heard by <br />Architectural Board of Review September 16, 1987. <br />Mr. Brennan, the owner, presented plans for the gabled roof addition. The <br />Architectural Board of Review had anproved as submitted and the Fire-De- <br />partment had no objection. R. Bierman moved to approve the exterior <br />changes to phase 2 of the alteration at 25044 Lorain Road for.Brennan <br />Auto Body, seconded by M. Betts, and unanimously approved. <br />2) Lorain American Amoco Service S'tation, 27830 Lorain Road <br />Proposal to renovate front of building. Heard by Architectural Board <br />of Review September 16, 1987. <br />Mr. Cook, the owner,presented the scale drawing which had previously been <br />submitted to the Architectural Board of Review who had approved nlans <br />with the condition that the white planels be painted to match the bronze <br />material. Mr. Cook explained that this is the comuletion of a project <br />that was started.previously, that the entire building will be brick to <br />match the existing brick and that a fence will be installed on the north <br />property line adjacent to the residential pronerty. T. Morgan moved to <br />approve the proposal to renovate the Lorain American Amoco service station <br />as shown on the plans presented this evening incorporating the 6 foot <br />high board on board fence on the northerl,y property line boundry, as well <br />as the recommendations contained in the Architectural Board of Review <br />minutes of September 16th, seconded by E. Traczyk, and unanimouslv a-Dnroved. <br />Chairman Burns announced that item 2 under NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS <br />would be heard before the next Building Department Request.
