I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Burns called the meeting to order at 8:10 u.m. <br />Present: R. Bierman, M. Betts, B. Gorris9 J. Thomas, E. Traczyk, and J. Burns. <br />Absent: T. Morgan <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko,.Consulting City En.gineer <br />T. Boyle, and Clerk of. Commissions B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />M. Betts moved to apnrove the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting <br />dated September 22, 1987.,. as submitted., seconded by E. Traczvk, and <br />unanimously approved. . <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTSt <br />1) PBM Office Products, 29168 Lorain Road <br />Exterior alteration to former racquetball club to convert to off.ice <br />buildi:ng. <br />Withdrawno <br />2) John Knox Pr.esbyterian Church, 25200 Lorain Road <br />Proposal to construct additions, <br />Mr. Serne, architect, explained that they are adding a classroom wing <br />and a gallery. He nresented a model showing the additions as well as <br />tlie existing.stzuctures and a color rendering. Materials and details <br />will m2tch the existing. Building Commissioner Conwav's memo stated <br />that a parking plan must be submitfed by the next meeting. Mr. Serne <br />advised that no additional parking.is proposed since the sanctuary and <br />social hall are considered to be a non-consecutive use. Chairman Burns <br />would like this plan submitted at the Architectur.al Review Board meeting. <br />Mr. Boyl.e advised.that the uroperty is all one uarcel.. R. Bierman moved <br />to submit the proposal to construct an addition at John Knox Presbyterian <br />Church., 25200 Lorain Road to the Architectural Board of Review and also <br />reauest that we have a parking plan and the number of spaces required, <br />and to tfie Safety Department and Engineering, seconded by J. Thomas, <br />and unanimouslv avnroved, <br />3) Electric Cordsets, Inc, 31400 Bradley Road. <br />Proposal to construct building in Limited Industrial District. (Variance <br />granted by the Board of Zoning Avueals October 7, 1987). <br />Mr. Davis, representing Electric Cordsets, and Mr... Davidson, architect, <br />advised that the office building will be 3,500 square feet; 16 parking <br />spaces are required, 17 are being provided; a 12 foot by 25 foot loading <br />area is planned in front: dumpster and mechanical units are to be
