ROLL CALL: <br />i <br />Chairman Burns called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m. <br />Present: M. Betts, R. Bierman, T. Morgan, B. Gorris, J. Thomas, and <br />J. Burns. <br />Absent: E. Traczyk <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building Commissioner <br />D. Conway, Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott, and <br />Clerk of Commissions B. Oring. <br />IIe REVIEW AND CORRECTIONS OF MINUTES: <br />B. Gorris moved to approve the minutes of.the Planning Commission meeting <br />of October 13, 1987 as submitted, seconded by J. Thomas, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />Chairman Burns announced that the agenda was being amended to hear <br />section IV. New Developments.and Subdivisions,first. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />1) Robert Goold Assembly Plat <br />The proposal is to combine permanent parcels 236-3-4, 236-3-5, <br />236- 3-6, and 236-3-7 into one (1) parcel which is the site of'the <br />apnroved (Planning Commission on May 12, 1987 and Council on June 2, 1987) <br />Lorain corporation, located at the southwest corner of Lorain and <br />Flehartv Roads. <br />Assistant City Engineer McDermott explained that they are assembling <br />four parcels in order to construct the previously. auproved Lorain <br />Corporation building.- Lot will be entirely within.the General Retail <br />District and will conform to code. R. Bierman moved to apurove the <br />Robert Goold Assembly Plat composed of sub lots 236-3-4, 236-3-5, <br />236-3-6, and 236-3-7 into one parcel, seconded b_y J. Thomas, and <br />unanimously approved. <br />IIIo BUILDING DEPARTMENT REOUESTS: <br />1) Speedy Muffler King, 4565 Great Northem Blvd. ' <br />Proposal to construct an addition to rear and side of building. <br />Heard by Architectural Board of Review October 21, 1987. <br />Mr. Valore, attorney, advised that the revised plans now reflect <br />the 6 foot board on board fence as required by the Architectural <br />Board of Review and as requested by the adjacent neighbors. Dumpster <br />will be enclosed on three sides With a gate on the front. Building <br />Commissioner Conway advised that he has been supplied with a cony of <br />the easement agreement through the Carriage Plaza nroperty. Mr. Valore
