("C" District, minimum lot 60' frontage). Hearing
required by Ord.. 2806 (any house being built on a lot with a 50 `
front width or 1ess, requires the approval of the Board of Building
Code Appeals).
Chairman Kazak administered the?,oath to Mr. Koberna. Board has seen the
lot and agreed that the homes in this area are different styles.
Mr. Koberna's house will be a bi-level modern style with the garage in
front. This lot was subdivided before the ordinance. and most of the
surrounding lots are the same size. No neighb.ors were present, but
neighbor livi;ng in adjacent house had looked at the plans. in the
Building Department and did not state any objections. Drainage ditch
goes through the property, but according to Mr. Koberna, it does not
get a great deal of water and he had been advised by former Building
Commissioner Gundy that he could put.in "railroad ties and landscaping.
This will be addressed by the Engineering Department with their review.
J. Kazak moved to approve proposal to build on permanent parcel
it233-19-5, sublot 135, for Scott Koberna for the plans that have been
submitted tonight, seconded by D. Spoerke, and unanimously approved.
IV. Please note: previous variance
for roof top; installation. had beenl. heard on November 1986; and request
for variance to install earth station without immediate screening was
requested for a location on the Halleen Truck lot, 27881 Lorain Road on
January 22, 1987. Both locations will be discussed at this meeting.
Violation of Ord. 83-154.
Chairman Kazak read a letter from Mrs. Earl Beck regarding her objections
to the Fray this .request was handled at the January 22nd meeting (see
letter attached). Mr, Kazak administered the oath to Mr. Dumbrowski,
the contractor, and explained to Mrs. Beck and the other neighbors pre-
sent that the Board asked the contractor to place the dish on the roof
on the north pxoperty because they were?-.not satis:ified with any -l:ocation
on the truck lot, and wanted to see how the dish would look on ttie site
proposed at the November meeting, po.inting out that the dish was not
operational.
