ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Kazak called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: .J'.. Kazak, B. Schulz, and D. Spoerke <br />Mr, Burk arrived at 7:40 p.m. <br />Absent: R. Galloway <br />Also Present: C1erk of Commissions B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />The review of the minutes of the special meeting of March,19, 1987 will be <br />deferred until the next meeting. <br />III. NEW BUSINESS: <br />1) Thomas E. Wallenhorst, 23548 Clifford Ave, sublot 95, (property located <br />between 23564 and 23538 Clifford Dr.) <br />Request permission to construct house on permanent parcel #231-05-054 <br />Clifford Dr. ("C" District, minimum lot 60' frontage). Hearing.required <br />by Ord. 2806 (any house being b uilt on a lot with a 50 foot front width <br />or less, requires the approval of the Board of Building Code Appeals). <br />(Variance wi11 be required from the'Board of Zoning Appeals on April 1, 1987). <br />Chairman Kazak read messages from Mrs. Mihlan and Mrs. James advising <br />that they had no objection to the proposal. He then administered the <br />oath to Thomas, Michael; and James Wallenhorst who explained that the <br />other lots on tlie street are a11 about the same size. This is a ranch <br />style house witli a hip roof and there are similar houses in the neighbor- <br />hood. Chairman Kazak then administered the oath to Mrs. Gessler and <br />Miss Gray, neighbor to the rear, and explained the request..:.to them.. <br />They were inainly- concerned if a large pine tree which is on the property <br />line would be removed. Mr. Wallenhorst explained that about three fourths <br />of the tree is on his property, and will prob ably be damaged when they <br />are digging for the drive and will probab 1y have to be removed. Neighbors <br />viewed the plans and had no objection to it. It was explained that they <br />were requesting a variance frozn the Board of Zoning Appeals so that <br />they could put the house at the same set b ack line as the adjacent <br />houses. B. Schulz moved to grant permission to construct a house on <br />a 1ot 50 foot wide or less, permanent parcel number 231-05-054 Clifford <br />Drive, for Thomas Wallenhorst, seconded by R. Burk, and unanimously <br />approved. . <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Regarding the ordinance for satellite earth stations which the Board has <br />been discussing, Mr. Schulz has read the Westlake ordinance and has talked
