' BOARD OF BUILDING CODE APPEALS MARCH 26, 1987 PAGE 2
with their Assistant Director of the Building Department who advised that
they do not have an enforceab le residential code and, since their Law
Department has advised that it is unconstitutional to prohibit residential
installations, no permit is required. The Board asked the clerk to request
copies of these ordinances from other communities and will study them in
conjunction with the ordinance that they drafted at the last meeting.
Mr. Schulz questioned if the Board has approved the Carlon electrical non-
metalic tubing that was discussed at the January 22nd meeting. It was
explained that this material is approved in the National Electric Code,
so it is automatically approved.
V. ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
J.
