BOARD OF BUILDING CODE APPEALS AUGUST 27, 1987 PAGE 4
First, he would like to have some type of system whereby, if a minor change
is made in a previously approved proposal, he would be permitted to contact
the Chairman of the various Boards involved who could approve the said change
without requiring the developer to go through the entire approval process.
The members and Councilman Ta11on discussed this and will take it into con-
sideration. Secondly, he advised that the new fee schedule requires
permits for roofing, siding, driveway and patio installation. These con-
tractors must now be registered in the City and in order to require this
registration the Board must amend Section 1317.01 of the codified ordinance.
He also would like to require registration of subcontractors who do not need
permits. The Board agreed. J. Kazak moved to amend Section 131.7.01 of the
codified ordinance to.-include the contractor licensing requirement for
roofing, siding, driveway and patio installation, as well as any other trade
as the Building.Official deems necessary, seconded by R. Galloway, and
unanimously approved.
VII. ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
J. Kazak, Chairman B. Oring, Clerk of Commissions
