BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS DECEIiBER 2, 1987 PAGE 4 <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />administered to Mr. G. Pulito, attorney and brother of the applicant, who <br />explained that the enclosure would be the same brick as the house. Mr. Bugala <br />questioned if there was a permit for the footers. Mr. Pulito did not know. <br />The footers must be inspected by the Building DeDartment. R. Bugala moved <br />to grant the 12 foot rear yard variance for the vatio enclosure for S. & V. <br />Pulito at 5990 Decker Road with the consideration that the Building Denart- <br />ment inspect the existing nad to make sure the footers meet code and also to <br />grant the special uermit required because of a non-conforming dweliing <br />(front set back), seconded by B. Grace, and unanimousl,y anproved. Variance <br />and snecial permit granted. <br />2. Biskind Develooment Co. (Corporate Center), 25000 Country Club Blvd. <br />Request for variance (..1123,12). Request 24 square f_oot variance for temporary <br />leasing sign. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1163,06. Please note: <br />existing sign to be removed. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to.D. Lydon, Ostendorf Morris Company who is the leasing agent <br />for the Corporate Center. Mr.. Lydon exnlained that the sign wi11 be replacing <br />tfie exi,sti,ng. It w#11 be in a"V" shape so that it will be visitile froin <br />both the north and south. No snecific time period was stated in the request. <br />He was advised that.temporary leasing signs are usually allowed for one year. <br />B. Grace moved to approve the reques-t for a 24 square foot variance . for a temporary leasing sign for a period of no more than one year from the <br />date of the erection.of the sign which would conform to the length of the <br />variance, for the Biskind Development Company Corporate Center, 25000 Country <br />Club Boulevard, seconded by C. .Remmel, and unanimously auproved. Variance <br />granted, <br />3. H. L. Lester, 4527 Canterbury Road. Reauest for variance (1123.12). Request location variance for tool shed. <br />Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02(3) B& C. <br />Chairma.n Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administere.d.to Mr. Lester. Chairman Remmel stated this would be a logical <br />place to nut the shed. Building Commissioner Conwa_y stated that the size of <br />the shed conforms to the ordinance. R. Bugala moved to grant the location of <br />the tool shed for H. Z. Lester, 4527 Canterbury Road, seconded bv B. Grace, <br />and unanintously approved. Variance granted. <br />4. R. & M. Weekley? 55 76 -.Columbia Foad..''(.Heard after i.tem 5) <br />. <br />5. D. R. Gross, 5471 Porter Road <br />Request for variance (_1123,12). Request 14 foot variance for distance <br />between house and garage (at closest noint) and 15 foot variance for distance <br />between house and garage at another point. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section <br />1135. 05 (c)-1. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested varties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Gross who exnlained he obtained a permit to demolish the <br />old garage and poured the foundation where the previous garage had been <br />located vrior.to anplying for a b uilding permit.
