Sally Moran, 23606 Clifford Dr. <br />Request special permit to add to non-conforming dwelling (front set back). <br />Special permission required Ord. 87-93, Section 1165.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mrs. Moran and D. Reinert, contractor. Mr. Gomersall questioned <br />if they could get two cars in the garage with this addition. Mrs. Moran <br />stated that they probably only use one side of the garage. R. Gommersall <br />moved to grant the special nermit to add to a non-conforming dwelling (front <br />set b ack), for Sally Moran, 23606 Clifford Drive, seconded.by C. Remmel, and <br />unanimouslV approved. Special permit granted. <br />7. William E. Bammerlin, 30899 Bradley Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Req.uest.338 sq. ft. variance for total garage <br />area (detaehed garage alxeady constructed). Violation of Ord. 87-93,.Section <br />1135.02(c) 1. <br />Cliairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr..Bammerlin. The garage was constructed without a vermit.. <br />Mr. Bugala is concerned that the building does not meet the building codes. <br />Mr. Grace stated that he has no problem with-the actual structure and believes <br />that the lot is deep enought to accommodat.e it. Mr. Conway advised that there <br />would be corrections that would have to be made to the structure, that tHere <br />are no door and no concrete floor. Since he has no direction fr.om the code on <br />these two items, he wo.uld like to make the Board aware of them. Mr. Remmel <br />has a problem with the length of the building and is concerned that it would . <br />be used.for trucks. Mr. Bugala suggested cutting it down to a single car <br />garage. Mr. Bammerlin responded that the garage was not high enough to <br />accommodate a txuck. Mr. Szabo, the next door neighbor was present and was <br />called before the Board at this time. Chairman Remmel administered the oath. <br />Mr. Szabo stated that he had no objection to the garage. R. Grace moved to <br />apvrove the request for a 338 square foot variance for total garage area for <br />a detached garage which is already constructed for William E.Bammerlin, <br />30899 Bradley Road, seconded by R. Gomersall. Roll call on motion: G.race <br />and Gomersall, yes. Bugala-and Remmel, no.. Motion failed to vass. Variance . <br />denied. Chairman Remmel asked if Mr. Bammerlin would like the Board to vote... <br />on a 16 feet by 22 foot garage. Mro Bammerline declined stated lie would <br />remove the garage. <br />8. John P. and Anne 0'Connor, 26870 Chapel Hill <br />Request for variance (1123.12). -Request 9 foot rear yard variance for patio <br />enclosure. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.08. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before theLBoard. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. 0'Connor and Mr. Danley, contractor who stated that he did <br />not put in the concrete pad, Mr. 0'Connor had that.installed previously. <br />Building Commissioner Conway explained that pad could be installed without a <br />variance, but under the new ordinance a permit would be required for it. <br />Mr. Grace would ltke Mr. 0'Connor to give the Building Department the name of that contracto so they can take apnropriate action. B. Grace moved to <br />approve the 9 foot rear yard variance for the patio enclosure for John P. <br />and Anne 0'Connor, 26870 Chapel Hill, seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously <br />approved. Variance granted.
