B. Grace moved <br />to approve the variance, seconded by R. Bugala. Roll call on motion: Grace, <br />yes. Bugala, Gomersall, Helon, and Remmel, no. Motion failed to pass. <br />Variance denied. Mr. Wells asked if he could amend his request for a 14 by <br />14 foot shed. Chairman Remmel advised that he would have fo re-apply for <br />the reduced variance. Mr. Bugala stated that he would like the existing <br />sheds condemned and a legal size shed installed. <br />2. Tom Riley (Bennet-Dover Remodelers), 24880 Chase Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13): Request 3 foot variance for distance between <br />addition and garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-C. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Riley who explained that the contractor was supposed to <br />be present to explain proposal. Board had viewed the premises and have no <br />problems with the request. R. Gomers all moved to grant Mr. Tom Riley, <br />24880 Chase Drive, a 3 foot variance for the distance between his addition <br />and the garage, seconded by B. Grace, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. <br />3. Eugene L. Zoldesy, 4189 Root Road. <br />Request special permit to add to non--coriforming dwelling (front set back). <br />Special permission required. Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Ch'airman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. Zoldesy. Board has no objection to the special <br />permit. R. Bugala moved to grant the special permit to add to a nonconforming <br />dwelling for Mr. Eugene Zoldesy, 4189 Root Road, seconded by C. Remmel, and <br />unanimously ap_proved. Special permit granted. <br />4. Kenneth Andrey, 6039 Fitch Road. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance for location of tool shed <br />(already constructed). Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-D. <br />Chairman Remmel called ali interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Andrey. Mr. Bugala stated that he obviously does have <br />leaching problems where the shed should have been located. The Board agreed. <br />J..Helon moved to grant the variance for the location of the tool shed which <br />is to be 65 feet to the rear of the home and 10 feet off the side line for <br />Mr. Andrey, 6039 Fitch Road, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously <br />approved. Variance granted. <br />5. Dennis Smalley, 3404 West 231st $t, <br />Request for variance (1133,13). °Request 3 foot 10'inch sideyard variance to <br />replace detached garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-C. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Smalley and Mr. Burk, a neighbor, wh.o is. concerned that <br />some type of an easement or encroachment might be granted with the granting <br />of a variance. Mr. Remmel stated that th at would not be the case and that <br />it has been a policy of the Board to require enough- set back to main.tain the <br />garage and .the side yard.
