North Olmsted Unitarian Universalists Church, 5050 Porter Road Request special permit to alter a church in a residential district. Special permission required Ord. 62-33,;Section 1151.01-E. Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The.oath was administered to Mr. Wilson who'explained that they.were merely changing the roof to a gable roof line. R. Gomersall moyed.to grant a special permit to alter a church (to add new roof) in a residential district for the North Olmsted Unitar?an Universalist Church, secon.ded by B. Grace, and unanimously approved. L aw Director Gareau advised th at this proposal did not have to go to the Planning Commission sinee it was a minor alteration. Special permit granted.. 12. Mirrors on the Strip, 25984 Lorain Road Request special permit to add to non-conforming building (front and side set backs). Special permission required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02: No representative was present. Board had no objections to the proposal and Mr. Gareau stated that if they have no questions or objections there was.no reason to continue the request. C. Remmel.moved to grant the special permit conditioned upon the approval of the Planning Commission and the Architectural Review Board,,seconded by B. Grace, and unanimously approved. Special permit granted. Chairman Remmel advised that since August is a vacation month, the Board will accept '18 cases for the Septemlier 2nd meeting.
