Request 1 foot height variance for fence.
Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-H.
Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. A
5 foot fence would not screen their property s.ince the parking lot is
higher than their lot. Mr. Hoyt has been unsuccessful in his attempts
to buy the lot (it is owned by the same owner as Milton's). Desnite his
complaints, the city has done nothing to force the owner to maintain it.
Law Director Gareau advised that the city should cite the owner under the
property maintenance code and pointed out that since they were only one:
lot away from commercial property, a.6 foot fence is not unreasonable.
C.
