The neighbors are still concerned that the new water line will not alleviate their water pressure problems and questioned if the Commission is willing to apnrove this project without knowing that the water pressure will be improved. They were.advised that this is only a preliminary plan, and that the city will not.issue permirs if the water is not available. Mayor Petrigac explained that the Community Block grant has been approved for the water- line, and that the money.must be used with two years (work must be completed by 1989); there is a tentative meeting scheduled with all entities involved in order to set up a time-table for the project; that the Cleveland Water Department will be doing all the engineering; and also that the Porter Road water.line was ahead of schedule and this-will being operation at the end of this year of the begining of next year. Councilman Wilamosky clarified that the plan for the Stearns/Cook water line did have a loop - comiiig down Stearns Road. V. COMMUNICATIONS: No items. VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS: No items. VII. NEW BUSINESS: Ord.. 88-52: This ordinance is to include in the definitions of the Zoning Code the term landbank as requested by the Commission. R. Bierman moved to approve Ord. 88-52, seeonded by M. Betts, and unanimously approved. Mr. Morgan advised that he has recieved calls from Biskind Development Company regarding the construction of a hotel in the Corporate.Center. He would like the.Building Commissioner to bring any pertinent information regarding the master plan and the previous proposals to the next meeting. He also questioned the section of the code pertaining to allowing a hotel in a Mixed Use District. Assistant Law Director Dubelko read Section 1149.03(a) and.explained that a hotel was a retail use, but is permitted in.the Mixed Use District if the Planning Commission can integrate it into the plans and it wil,l meet the Mixed Use restrictions. ' VIII. OLD BUSINESS: The Commission will meet at 7:00 p.m. before the next meeting to discuss _the proposed new chapter 1126, of the Zoning Code. IX.
