Betts,_ and unanimously approved. The neighbors are <br />still concerned that the new water line will not alleviate their water <br />pressure problems and questioned if the Commission is willing to apnrove <br />this project without knowing that the water pressure will be improved. <br />They were.advised that this is only a preliminary plan, and that the city <br />will not.issue permirs if the water is not available. Mayor Petrigac <br />explained that the Community Block grant has been approved for the water- <br />line, and that the money.must be used with two years (work must be completed <br />by 1989); there is a tentative meeting scheduled with all entities involved <br />in order to set up a time-table for the project; that the Cleveland <br />Water Department will be doing all the engineering; and also that the <br />Porter Road water.line was ahead of schedule and this-will being operation <br />at the end of this year of the begining of next year. Councilman Wilamosky <br />clarified that the plan for the Stearns/Cook water line did have a loop - <br />comiiig down Stearns Road. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />No items. <br />VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />No items. <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Ord.. 88-52: This ordinance is to include in the definitions of the Zoning <br />Code the term landbank as requested by the Commission. R. Bierman moved to <br />approve Ord. 88-52, seeonded by M. Betts, and unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Morgan advised that he has recieved calls from Biskind Development Company <br />regarding the construction of a hotel in the Corporate.Center. He would like <br />the.Building Commissioner to bring any pertinent information regarding the <br />master plan and the previous proposals to the next meeting. He also questioned <br />the section of the code pertaining to allowing a hotel in a Mixed Use District. <br />Assistant Law Director Dubelko read Section 1149.03(a) and.explained that a <br />hotel was a retail use, but is permitted in.the Mixed Use District if the <br />Planning Commission can integrate it into the plans and it wil,l meet the Mixed <br />Use restrictions. ' <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />The Commission will meet at 7:00 p.m. before the next meeting to discuss _the <br />proposed new chapter 1126, of the Zoning Code. <br />IX.
