PLANNING COMMISSION JUNE 8, 1988 PAGE 3 <br />2) Sunrise Development Company, Sherman, Taolf Assembly Plat. <br />The proposal is to assemble and combine into one (1) sublot the platted <br />parcels located in the vicinity of the North Olmsted Industrial Parkway, <br />approved by Ordinance No. 86-123, as shown and listed on the Assembly <br />Plat. The location of the proposed land assembly is between the C.E.I. <br />Easement and I-480, and abuts (on the east) the Sunrise Development <br />Company Assembly Plat approved by Planning Commission on 2/9/88. Zoning <br />is Limited Industry and the propos.al conforms to the Zoning Code. <br />(Withdrawn from the Planning Commission meeting of May 24, 1988). <br />City Engineer Boyer presented the plat explaining that this is the second <br />phase of the Industrial Park Assembly, the first phase was approved by <br />Planning Commission on February 9, 1983. Mr. Rosebeck, Sunrise Develon- <br />ment Company, advised that what is now shown on the plat as sublot 3 <br />should be changed to sublot 4, and that all previously subdivided parcels <br />will be one subloto Plans were explained to Mrs. Merda, 31239 Lorain Road. <br />The Industrial Park Roadway has been approved by ordinance. J. Thomas <br />moved to approve the proposal to assemble and combine into one sublot the <br />platted parcels located in the vicinity of the Industrial Parkway approved <br />by Ord. 86-123, 12 shown and listed on the Assembly Plat, and that the <br />motion should also consider the change.to the submitted plans in that <br />sublot 3 actually being sublot 4(this change was made and initialed on <br />the plat by Mr. Thomas), seconded by B. Gorris, and unanimously approved. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Morgan advised that he had received a response dated 5/13/88 from the <br />Playor regarding the Commission's questions on the Developers Diversified <br />property which stated "I.have received your memo of May 24th regarding the <br />Developers Diversified property. The decision as to Planning Commission <br />being involved prior to the journal entry of this property has been made <br />upon the advice of the Law.Director. I have noted that he is not a contact <br />person on your memo therefore I have taken the liberty of sending a copy of <br />your memo to him." <br />Mr. Morgan requested that a memo dated June 3, 1988 regarding the North <br />Olmsted West End Water Line Improvements and the attached Implementation <br />Sctiedule be made part of these minutes (see attached). <br />Mr. Morgan requested that copies of an article sent to him by the Mayor <br />regarding interchanges be sent to each member. <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS: <br />A response to the Mayor's letter of May 23rd relatiue to impact fees was <br />drafted and.read by Mr. Thomas (see attached). T. Morgan moved that the <br />letter writt.en by John Thomas to the Mayor relative to the traffic impact <br />fees as.a result of her letter of May 23rd be approved as written, seconded <br />by E. Traczyk, and unanimously approved. <br />Discussion of the proposed New Chapter 1126 of .the Zoning Code. , Commission has discussed this completely and will now request that legislation <br />be enacted. B. Gorris moved that legislation relative to proposed new chapter <br />1126 of the Zoning Code be drafted by the Law Department including all recom- <br />. mendations as outlined in the final draft provided by Mr. Dubelko on May 31st,
