Gorris, and unanimously approved. Mr. Morgan <br />clarified that if the BZD Committee approves this plan, the Commission <br />only wishes to look at what was presented to the BZD. <br />5) Chi-Chi's Mexican Restaurante, 26410 Great Northern Shopping Plaza <br />Proposal for minor revision to exterior of restaurant. <br />Heard by the Architectural Board of Review September 21, 1988. <br />There was no representative present. B. Gorris moved to table the Chi-Chi's <br />Mexican Restaurante proposal until a representative presents the plan, <br />seconded by E. Traczyk, and unanimously approved. <br />6) Rad Air Service Center, 24260 Lorain Road <br />Addition of landscape buffer <br />Heard by Architectural Board of Review September.21, 1988. <br />Air. Kresge, owner, presented plans and advised that he had no problems <br />with the Architectural Board's recommendations. The Architectural Board <br />would have preferred to eliminate the fencing on the west property line, <br />but Mr. Kresge advised that he needed this fence for protection from the <br />property next door. Mr. Morgan suggested that a chain link fence with <br />brick posts like the one between Burger King and the adjacent restaurant <br />might be more appealing. Mr. Kresge will check into this. . Commission <br />has no problems with the proposal as it is and it was clarified that if <br />the owner decided to use the brick posts to match the brick,on the planter <br />he would not have to return to the Commission. B. Gorris moved to approve <br />the Rad Air Service Center landscaping.buffer as approved by the Architec- <br />tural Board of Review with the suggestion that the owner explore the <br />possibility of breaking up the cyclone fence.in some decorative fasion if <br />it proves economically feasible, seconded by T. Morgan, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />7) Third Federal Savings and Loan Association, 26949 Lorain Road <br />Proposal to construct addition to front-of existing building. <br />Heard by the Architectural Board of Review September 21, 1988. <br />Mr. Davison, architect, advised that the owners had agreed to replace the <br />roof with a similar type as previously suggested by Planning Commission. <br />Safety Department reports stated that neither Captain Krynak nor Assistant <br />Chief Osterhouse had any objection to the proposal as presented. Mr. Davis.on <br />stated that the landscaping will be revised as recommended by the Architec- <br />tural Board of Review and those revisions will be submitted to the BZD <br />Committee. Commission has no problem with proposal. M. Betts moved to <br />approve Third Federal Savings and Loan proposal to construct addition to <br />the front of their existing building at 26949 Lorain Road subject to the <br />suggestions of the Architectural Board of Review as outlined in their <br />minutes dated September 21st and with the inclusion of the new roof, <br />seconded by E. Traczyk, and unanimously approved. Mr. Davison was advised <br />that the revised plans including the new roof and landscaping plan must <br />be presented to the BZD Committee.
