P.equest variance of 131.98 total sign area. <br />Violation of Ord, 87-93, Section 116-3.05. Request.variance to place sign on <br />property xahere business is not located. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section <br />1163. 06 (a) l, <br />Chairman Remmel called a11 interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Carlisle who pointed out that they have attemuted on two <br />other occasions to put an oversized pole sign on the Hampton Inn property, and <br />the sign they are now.proposing is a compromise which addresses,the concerns <br />of the residential nroperty owners at the previous meeting,s. By placing the <br />sign on this property,which thev own, it will not be adj.acent to residences. <br />The size of the sign and the pole have been reduced as well. The sign will be <br />illuminated. Chairman Remmel noted that none of the neighbors were present. <br />Board agrees that this proposal is far.more satisfactory. B. Grace moved to <br />apnrove the request to place a pole sign on vacant land itr Mixed Use District <br />as per Ord 87-93, Section 1163.08; to approve the request to install a sign <br />indicating "for rent" in violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1163.05C-1; to <br />approve the request for 131.98 square foot variance for total sign area in violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1163.05; and to approve a variance to place <br />sign on pronerty where business is not located.in violation of Ord. 87-93, <br />Section 1163.06(a)l, for the Hampton Inn, 25105 Country Club Blvd, seconded <br />by C. Remmel, and unanimously approved. Variances granted. <br />4. James Martynowski, 5542 Porter Road <br />Request special permit to add attached garage to non-conforming dwelTiug. <br />Special permission required Ord. 87-93, Section 1165.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. and Mrs. Martynowski who advised that the lot was 65 feet <br />wide. T,he Board had no further questions:. R. Bugala moved to grant-the <br />special permit to add an attached garage to a non-conforming dwelling, seconded <br />by R. Gomersall, and unanimously approved. Special permit granted. <br />5. Henni:e Ho.mes, Inc., sublot 39, 29189 Quail Run <br />Request special permit to place temporary construction trailer on vacant lot. <br />Special permission required Ord. 87-93, Section 1123.06(a). <br />Chairman Remmel called a11 interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to R. Puzzitiello who explained that they would need the trailer. <br />until the development was completed. Chairman Remmel explained that these <br />variance were usually granted for six months at which time they could renew <br />their request. R. Bugala moved to grant a special permit to place a temporary <br />construction trailer on sublot 39, 29189 Quail Run,for no longer than a 6 month <br />period, seconded by J. Helori, and unanimously apnroved. Special nermit granted.
