Violation of Ord. 87,93, Section 1163.06(d). <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to C. Woost, sign contractor', who explained that they are re- <br />placitig f aces in the former Mars Cleaners sign cabinet. J. Helon moved to <br />graiit the 34.4 square foot variance for a.wall sign for Sun Brite Cleaners, <br />29087 Lorain Road, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimousl_y. approved. <br />Variance granted. <br />9. Frugal Finery, 29601 Lorain..Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 25.5 square foot variance for wall <br />signs. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1163.06(d). <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties,before the Boardo The.oath was <br />administered to C. Woost, sign contractor, and owner, Mrs. Hagedorn, who ex-. <br />plained the.sign will be under the canopy. R. Bugala moved to grant the 25.5 <br />square foot variance for wa11 signs at Frugal Finery at 29601 Lorain Road, <br />seconded by B. Grace, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />10. New Source Counseling Center (North Olmsted Evangelical Friends Church),. <br />5665 Great Northern Blvd. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request.variance to install ground.sign in <br />a residential district. 'Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1163.05(a). <br />Chairman Remmel called a11 interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Ms. ililk, representing New Source Counseling Center, who ex- <br />plained that they had a contract with the church to do Christian Counseling <br />with people referred by the pastor of the church. Board is concerned since <br />no renresentative from the church is present and would like to know what type <br />counseling is to be done. The Board questioned if this use is allowed under <br />the church's special permit. Building Commissioner Conway advised that he had <br />allowed this use as an extention of the church's services for their coirgregation. <br />Mr. Gomersall is questioning why they need a sign if this service is offered <br />to members of the church. Mr. Remmel would like the pastor or a reuresentative <br />of the church present. Mrs. Knighton and Mr. Jamison, neighbors, came forward <br />at this time and were sworn in. The neighbors also were questioning what type <br />of counseling would be done there and why a sign is necessary. The Board <br />would like to continue the case until the=May 5th meeting. J. Helon moved to <br />continue this case until the May 5th meeting, seconded by C. Remmel, and <br />unanimously approved. Case Continued.
