Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.06(a). Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered to Mr. and Mrs. Totten, and neighbor, E. Littera, who had no objection. Mr. Remmel stated that this should be an improvement. R. Gomersall moved to grant the reqties't for a 2 foot front set back variance for the construction of an addition to a dwelling for Jeff Totten, 28084 Terrace Dr., seconded b_y J. Helon, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. 8. Sun Brite Cleaners, 29087 Lorain Road Request for variance (.1123.12). Request 34.4 square foot variance for wall . sign. Violation of Ord. 87,93, Section 1163.06(d). Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered to C. Woost, sign contractor', who explained that they are re- placitig f aces in the former Mars Cleaners sign cabinet. J. Helon moved to graiit the 34.4 square foot variance for a.wall sign for Sun Brite Cleaners, 29087 Lorain Road, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimousl_y. approved. Variance granted. 9. Frugal Finery, 29601 Lorain..Road Request for variance (1123.12). Request 25.5 square foot variance for wall signs. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1163.06(d). Chairman Remmel called all interested parties,before the Boardo The.oath was administered to C. Woost, sign contractor, and owner, Mrs. Hagedorn, who ex-. plained the.sign will be under the canopy. R. Bugala moved to grant the 25.5 square foot variance for wa11 signs at Frugal Finery at 29601 Lorain Road, seconded by B. Grace, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. 10. New Source Counseling Center (North Olmsted Evangelical Friends Church),. 5665 Great Northern Blvd. Request for variance (1123.12). Request.variance to install ground.sign in a residential district. 'Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1163.05(a). Chairman Remmel called a11 interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered to Ms. ililk, representing New Source Counseling Center, who ex- plained that they had a contract with the church to do Christian Counseling with people referred by the pastor of the church. Board is concerned since no renresentative from the church is present and would like to know what type counseling is to be done. The Board questioned if this use is allowed under the church's special permit. Building Commissioner Conway advised that he had allowed this use as an extention of the church's services for their coirgregation. Mr. Gomersall is questioning why they need a sign if this service is offered to members of the church. Mr. Remmel would like the pastor or a reuresentative of the church present. Mrs. Knighton and Mr. Jamison, neighbors, came forward at this time and were sworn in. The neighbors also were questioning what type of counseling would be done there and why a sign is necessary. The Board would like to continue the case until the=May 5th meeting. J. Helon moved to continue this case until the May 5th meeting, seconded by C. Remmel, and unanimously approved. Case Continued.
