l+ <br />PLANNING COMMISSION JUNE 27, 1989 . PAGE 5 <br />specifically discuss the saving of the maple tree in the rear, and with <br />the forester contacting the adjacent property owners both to the east <br />and to the west relative to their concerns as it relates to trees bordering <br />their repsective property lines; it is our understanding that the developer <br />will return to the next meeting with the revised landscape plan addressing, <br />not only these issues, but also further refinements of the landscaping in <br />the front area, if possible we would like Mr. Wendell to show up at the <br />next meeting; and also by the next meeting we would like the Engineers <br />comments relative to the probability of the perculation system or if it <br />would be necessary to pump to Lorain Road, seconded by R. Bierman, and <br />unanimously approved. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />No items. <br />VI. COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Zn reference to the committee on split zoning, Mr. Betts advised that he <br />has met with the City Engineer who advised that he has a problem with the <br />lack of a staff to research these lots. He suggested that if funds of <br />approximately $2,000 were made available for this study,.a revision of the <br />zoning map,which is long overdue, could be made at the same time, The <br />Commission will make a recommendation that some funds be allocated for this <br />study. <br />V?I. NEW BUSINESS: <br />In reference to the legal restriction to be placed on the Home Centers . <br />proposal, the Commission decided to caucus at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mr. Conway advised that with two carry overs on the next agenda and since <br />he has had several inquires about proposals for this meeting, there could <br />be a very heavy agenda in July. The Commission decided that they would <br />not continue the meeting after 11;00 p.m. and further, that any proposal <br />which had not been discussed by 10:30 would be carried over. <br />The Commission decided to take August as a vacation month. J. Thomas <br />moved that the Commission would not meet in August, seconded by B. Gorris, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />No items. <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT: <br />B. Gorris moved to excuse the absence of Mrs. Traczyk and Mr. Morgan, <br />seconded by J. Thomas, and unanimously approved. . <br />-- The meeting was a'-arned at 10: 15 p em. <br />.
