Zergott moved to approve the minutes of September 20, 1989, seconded by
T. Gallagher, and unanimou'sly approved.
III. SIGPTS:
Heard with building plans.
IV. OLD BUSINESS:
No items.
V. NEW BUSINESS:
1) Bruscino Medical and Professional Building, east side of Dover Center Road
south of Brookpark Road Ext.
Revised plans to construct building.
Heard by Flanning Commission September 26, 1989.
Mr. Schill, architect, presented revised plans for the two story office..
building explaining that a basement for storage and an exterior stairway
has been adde,d., Ruilding Commissioner Conway cautioned that the basement
cannot be used for offices, only storage. Mr. Schill presented materials:
roof will be G.A.F. Heather Blend Timberlane asphalt shingles; building
will be Deer, Colonial G]illiamsburg 319 brick; and vinyl double hung
windows will have an almond color trim. The forester has advised that
the location of the trees on the plan was incorrect and that trees 2,
3, and 4 cannot be saved. He indicated several areas where curbs should
be installed in order to save the trees. Mr. Zergott stipulated that
the landscape plan be changed so that honey locust will replace the
paper birch which is not salt hardy; and suggested that perhaps the baltic
ivy be replaced with wintercreeper and that they install some simple
landscaping around the sign. Mr. Schill stated that they will be pre-
senting the sign later. The lights wi11 be high pressure sodium on 18
feet high poles (plan shows 18 feet, 6 inches). Mr. Conway advised that
the code only requires 5 parking spaces per doctor for a medical building,
but if this is just a common office use, 81 spaces would be required.
Mr. Schill advised that several doctors are interested in leasinge Mr.
Schill also pointed out that the decorative chimney shown on the plans
will be eliminated. B. Zergott moved to approve the revised plans for
the Bruscino Medical Building noting the changes on the landscaping,
seconded by M. Case, and unanimously approved.
