ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW OCTOBER 18, 1989 PAGE 3
Mra Liggett, architect, and Dr. Davis presented the revised plans
which show the landbanked parking spaces as recommended by the Planning
Commissionm They believe the parking will be sufficient for the present
since the doctor has only 2 employees. The 2,071 square foot building
will be Belden Brick (Beaver Blend - Dark Tea),with siding stained in
Olympic light gray #911; the aluminium facia trim will be a color similar
to Cedar Bronze Olympic stain #707 and the band will be an aluminium in
a color similar to Dark Bronze Olympic stain #913; the roof will be Owens-
Corning Fiberglas #235 asphalt shingles, Weathered Wood; windows and doors
will be Capitol Dark Bronze (or an approved equal). The trash enclosure
will be board on board fence, the air conditions unit is ground mounted,
and the ground sign will be brick to match the building. Mr. Zergott
has no problem with the landscaping plan except that he would like the
14 arborvitae planted as originally planned even though the adjacent
parking spaces have been landbanked. The lights will be on 12 foot poles,
and Mr. Liggett explained that they would probably be high pressure sodium
and would be directed down. Mr. Conway cautioned that the lights must
be shielded so that they do not glare onto the adjacent residential
property, Mre Gallagher suggested that these lights might darken the
building and suggested that they consider using the metal hallite.
B. Zergott moved to accept the Davis Animal Hospital as presented with
the recommendation that the arborvitae be installed as originally pre-
sented and that the sign be approved providing it conforms to the code,
seconded by M. Case, and unanimously approved.
IX. ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
M. Case, Chairwoman B. Oring, Clerk of Commissions
