(This is a universal <br />standard) <br />Section M-1605 Add section: Turning vanes to be required in ducts going <br />to electronic air cleaners. (This is usually covered by <br />manufacturer's specifications. ) <br />Building Commissioner Conway advised that this code is for one and two family <br />dwellings, but it will be amended to include 3 family dwellings in order to <br />cover the gap between the two building codes. He further advised that <br />chapter 51 (the plumbing code) of the Ohio Basic Building Code will be adopted <br />with these amendments and will replace the CABO code. He advised that plastic <br />water pipe should be allowed in residential usage as recommended in Section <br />P-104, however, it has not become part of the state code as yet. The plas.tic <br />pipe is allowed in the commercial code. Mr. Conway clarified that the chapter <br />of the codes which were previously amended will be again be accepted with the <br />adoption of these amendments.
