Grace moved to grant the location variance (3 foot rear yard and 1 foot side <br />yard) to replace tool shed (variance previously granted April 6, 1988) for Tony <br />Dudsak, 4452 West Ranchview Ave, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously <br />approved. Variance granted. <br />4. Tom Iosue, 26559 Chapel Hill <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 8 foot rear yard variance for screened <br />deck. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.08(a). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Iosue, and contractors, Mr. Dillon and Mr. Spears, who <br />explained the proposal for a screened in deck. Mr. Iosue stated that he had no <br />intention of putting in windows, but this is to replace an existing patio which <br />is in disrepair and will also correct some other problems. J. Helon moved to <br />grant to Tom Iosue at 26559 Chapel Hill, the 9 foot rear yard variance for a <br />screened-in deck, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. <br />5. Leo F. McNeeley, Jr., 5929 McKenzie Rd. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 5 foot variance for total side yards <br />to construct two story addition (attached garage and living area). Violation <br />of Ord. 87-93, Se.ction 1135.07. <br />J <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. McNeeley who explained that he will be constructing extra <br />garage area and a fourth bedroom. Mr. Bugala believes that this is a substantial <br />use of the side yards. Other members had no problem with the proposal. B. <br />Grace moved to grant a 5 foot variance for total side yards to construct a two <br />story addition (attached garage and living area) for Mr. Leo F. McNeeley, Jr. <br />at 5929 McKenzie Road, seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. <br />•..?-_ _ _ <br />6. John Kepperley,.5001 Porter Rd. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 5 foot variance for distance between <br />patio enclosure and existing detached garage. Violation of Ord. 87-93; Section <br />1135.02(c)-1. <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Barry, the contractor. Mr. Bugala believed that the <br />fire rated dry wall should be installed inside the garage. Mr. Grace pointed <br />out that this is an aluminium enclosure with an aluminium roof and he does not <br />believe the fireproof ing should be necessary. Mr. Conway advised that fireproof- <br />ing is not mandatory in this situation, however he also has concerns with a <br />structure that is relative to the garage, and pointed out that the fire proof- <br />ing woiild be isolating the garage from the structure. Mr. Gomersall stated that <br />the dry wall would not have .to be installed on the whole garage. B. Grace <br />moved to grant the request for the 5 foot variance for distance between patio <br />enclosure and existing detached garage for Mr. John Kepperley at 5001 Porter <br />Road, seconded by T. Restifo. Roll call on motion: Grace Restifo, and Helon, <br />yes. Mro Bugala and Mr. Gomersall, no. Aiotion.carried. Variance granted. <br />7. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gedeon, 24786 Randall Drive. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 12 foot 6 inch rear yard variance to <br />install patio enclosure. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135,08(a).
