Mr. Conway pointed out that there is a
lattice on the top of the fence, and if it followed grade, it would not look
good. The members would like the builder repri:manded in some way. Mr. Conway
stated that there have been no problems with this contractor before, so
A1r. Gareau suggested that a letter be sent advising them that if this happens
again, their license will be suspended. J. Helon moved to grant the request of
L. and Z. Fields, 23936 Amesbury Drive for a 3 inch to 14 inch variance for
height of fence, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. Variance
granted.
13. Mr. Bugala stated there was no need for:a
fence higher than allowed. Mr. Gomersall pointed out that children can either
jump over or climb through this fence. R. Gomersall moved to grant the 1 foot
height variance for a fence in the front set back for Mr. J. Leffingwell,
23459 Westchester Drive, seconded by T. Restifo. Roll call on motion:
Gomersall, Grace, Helon, and Bugala, no. Mr. Restifo, yes. Motion failed to
pass. Variance denied.
14. Robert Winkler, 4359 Silverdale Rd.
Request for variance (.1123.12). Request 150 square foot variance to construct
a detached garage (existing attached garage to be converted to utility room).
Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02(c).1.
Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was
administered to Mr. and Mrs. Winkler, Ms. Havlena and J. Stovicek, neighbors.
Building Commissioner Conway presented additional drawing to the Board and.to
the neighbors. P4r. WinkTer advised that he had no basement and needs additional
garage space. r4s.,Havlena stated that now that she has seen the plans she has
no objection, especially since they are leaving a wooded area behind the garage.
Other neighbors stated that this is a large lot and the.y had no objection.
Mr. 4Jinkler clarified that the doors would be 8 feet high. T. Restifo moved to
grant the variance at the Winkler home, 4359 Silverdale Road, for a 150 square
foot variance to construct a garage, seconded by B.
