Request 8 foot variance for distance between
addition and detached garage. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02(c)-1.
Also request 1 foot rear yard variance. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section
_1135.08(a).
Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was
administered to Mrs. Hartz and her brother, Mr. Beganey. Mr. Conway stated
that they would have to laminate the interior of the garage within 20 feet
of the structure with 5/8 inch dry wall. R. Gomersall moved to grant a
request .for an 8 foot variance for the distance between the addition and the
detached garage with the provision that 5/8 inch fire retardant fire wall be
built for a distance to a distance of 20 feet of the addition, and also to
grant the 1 foot rear yard variance for David M. Hartz, 24009 Maple Ridge Road,
seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. Variance granted.
14. Stephen M. Nock, 25077 Antler Drive
Request for variance (1123.12). Request 4 foot side yard variance to construct
detached garage. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02(c)-1.
Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was
administered to Mr. Nock. Chairman Bugala stated that a 4 foot variance is
excessive on a side yard. Mr. Nock advised that his house is in the center of
the lot and if he moves the garage over too far he will have a problem getting
into it, he suggested placing the garage 18 inches away from the line. After
some discussion the Board agreed that 3 feet off the line would be acceptable
since it would allow enough room for maintenance. R. Bugala moved to grant a
2 foot side yard variance to construct a detached garage for Stephen M. Nock
of 25077 Antler Drive, seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously approved.
Variance granted.
15. Michael J. Rutledge,. 4506 Silverdale
Request for variance (1123.12). Request 44 square foot variance, 1 foot height
variance, and location variance for tood shed. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section
1135.02(d)e
Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was
administered to Mr. Rutledge who advised that he verified with the company
that this size or the 10 by 10 foot shed would both be 9 feet high. Ae explairied-"
that he had no basement and only a 1 and a half car garage. Members agreed
that the 12 by 12 foot shed was too large, but in the proposed location the
height variance would not be too excessive, Mr. Rutledge agreed to amend his
request to eliminate the 44 square foot variance and request only the height
and location variances. R. Bugala moved to grant a one foot height variance
only for a 10 by 10 foot shed and a location variance for Michael J. Rutledge
of 4506 Silverdale, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously approved.
Variances granted.
Because of the July 4th holiday, the council will be meeting on July 5th, so
the Board decided to postpone its July meeting until the 12th.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
113 d
Bugala, Cha
B.
