They were asked to <br />review this for the next meeting. The developers were advised that tmder the <br />new code they would not be allowed to sell beer in these food marts. The <br />proposal was continued tmtil the next meeting. <br />3) Saint Richard's Catholic Church, 26855 Lorain Road. <br />Proposal to construct trussed roof on rectory. <br />Mr. Kelly, architect, advised that the church has had a constant maintenance <br />problem with the flat roof on the rectory. He has suggested that they <br />construct a trussed roof systen over the existing roof. The members studied <br />the plans and ha.d no objection to the proposal. Mr. Kelly stated that as far <br />as he knew no mechanical equipment would be on the roof which will be <br />insulated and ventilated. Mr. Morgan believes that will improve the <br />appearance of the building. Building ComQnissioner Conway advised,that tris is <br />a non-conforming structure because of the side setback, and will need a <br />special permit from the Board of Zoning Appeals. It was decided that this <br />proposal would be sent.to the Architectural Board and if that Board had no <br />problem with it, the proposal could go directly to the Board of Zoning Appeals <br />and would not have to come back to the Commission. J. Thomas moved to approve <br />St. Richard's Catholic Church and refer to the Architectural Board of Review <br />and if that Board makes no significant changes to the proposal this should be <br />forwarded to the Board of Zoning Appeals with the reconunendation that the <br />special permit be granted, seconded by L. Orlowski, and tmanimously approved. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMIIIIQTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />2) Sunrise Development.Company Lot Split. of Land Located along the North Olmsted- <br />Industrial Parkway (Sublot No. 6). <br />The proposal is to split off a lot located on the south side of the North <br />0]msted Industrial Parkway, as recorded in voltune 239, pages 83 and 84 of <br />Cuyahoga County Maps and Record. Zoning is Limited- Indust.rial Park en*irely, <br />and the proposal conforms to the Zoning Code. <br />3) Sunrise Development Company Lot split of Land Located along the North Olmsted <br />Industrial Parkway (Sublot No. 7). <br />The proposal is to split off a lot on the north side of the North 0]r,isteci <br />Industrial Parkway,` as recorded in volume 239, pages 83 and 84 of Cuyahoga <br />County Maps and Records. Zoning is Limited Industry-Industrial Park <br />entirely,.and the proposal conforms to the Zoning Code. <br />Mr. Rosebeck, representing Sunrise Develop;nent Company, advised that the <br />Industrial Park was consolidated into one sublot in order to subdivide into <br />parcels as needed by the individual developers. They have subdivided one <br />parcel for Thermal, Inc. and these two parcels will be for two of their <br />partners. The Thermal- parcel is approximately 5 acres and these parcels are <br />close to that size. Mr. Gorris is concerned that taking out these parcels - <br />could cause problems with the size of some of the lots as they are_developed <br />closer to the cul-de-sac. Mr. Rosebeck stated that there are 112 acres <br />remaining which could be developed into 3, 4, or 5 parcels. B. Gorris moved <br />to approve the Sunrise Development Company lot split of Land located•along the <br />North Olmsted Industrial Parkway indicated as sublot no. 6, seconded by J. <br />4 -
