Helon moved to grant the variance for Judi <br />Sharosky, 24346 Fairlawn Drive, for a 23 foot rear yard variance to install a <br />patio enclosure and also a special germit to add to a non-conforming dwelling, <br />seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. Variance and special permit <br />granted. <br />6. Ben K. Request 25 foot, 2 inch rear yard variance to <br />move Yiouse from 4863 Dover Center Road. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section <br />1135.08(a). Also request 42± square foot variance for area of house as required <br />in "B" District. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.04(b). Permission to <br />move house and variance granted by Board of Building Code Appeals on June 28, <br />1990. <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. F. Hatton, a neighbor, and T. Gill, attorney representing <br />Mr. Wright, who explained that the Board of Building Code Appeals had approved <br />the request to move the house. Mr. Hatton who lives across the street stated <br />that he had no problem with the request. Mr. Gill pointed out that the lot was <br />only 115 feet deep but is pie shaped and quite wide, and that there is.A <br />commercial property to the rear. The house is also about 42 feet square feet <br />short of what is required. Mr. Restifo pointed out that he moved another house <br />next door to this. A letter from R. Jenne, owner of the property to the rear <br />and also to the side, had been submitted to the Board of Building Code Appeals, <br />and there was an another letter in Mr. Wright's personal file addressed to this <br />Board, but copies had not been sent to the members. Members had no problesn with <br />the request. T. Restifo moved to grant the variance for the Ben K. Wright <br />property located north of 5205 Porter Road, the request for a 25 foot 2 inch <br />rear yard variance to move a house from 4863 Dover Center Road, and also a 42± <br />square foot variance for the area of a house as required iri a"B" District, <br />seconded by R. Gomersall, and imanimously approved. Variance granted. ._ <br />7. Bernard and Joyce Divis, 28856 Hampton Drive. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 20 foot side yard variance on corner <br />lot. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.06(b). Also request 5 foot rear <br />yard variance to construct addition to attached garage. Violation of Ord. 87- <br />93, Section 1135.08(a). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Divis and the contractor, Mr. Orr. Mr. Gomersall pointed <br />out that this was only about 5 feet from the sidewalk. Mr. Orr stated that they <br />had considered putting the doors facing the street, but then if they parked cars <br />in the driveway they would be over the sidewalk which is also a violation: He <br />does not believe the garage would block the stop sign. Mr. Grace does not <br />believe it would interfere with sight lines. Mr. Gomersall stated that it was <br />too much for the lot. It was suggested that they might be able to put in a <br />detached garage in the rear of the property. They decided to withdraw this <br />request in order to investigate other alternatives.
