<br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was ' <br />administered to Mr. Bradesca. The members had no questions, but Mr. Bugala <br />stated he had a problem with the contractor who constructed the shed illegally. <br />B. Grace moved to grant the 2 foot side yard variance for a tool shed, for Mr. <br />Joseph T. Bradesca, 4279 Brendan Lane, seconded by T. Restifo, and tmanimously <br />approved. Variance granted. <br />9. Ameritrust, 26091 Brookpark Road (Great Northern ilaza North). <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 150.98 square foot variance for total <br />sio area to add to pole sign. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1163.06(d). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. K. Miller, sign contractor, who explained that the sign was <br />adjacent to Chi-Chi's Restaurante and merely states that there is 24 hour <br />bankingo Building Commissioner Conway advised that this is an 8 square foot <br />addition to the existing pole sign but the variance is for the all the signs on <br />their buildings. Mr. Restifo pointed out that they could add a?sign for each <br />service that they offer. Members agreed that this is too much signage. Mr. <br />Grace pointed aut that they would have room for this on the face of the existing <br />sign without adding it. J. Helon moved to grant the variance of Ameritrust at <br />26091 Brookpark Road (Great Northern Plaza North), the request for 150.98 square <br />foot variance f.or total sign area to add to pole sign, seconded by T. Restifo. <br />Roll call on motion: Helon, Restifo, Gomersall, and Bugala, no. Mr. Grace, <br />yes. Motion failed tc pass. Variance denied, <br />10. Stephen Michael Holian, 5914 Stearns Road. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 4 foot 6 inch side yard variance and 6 <br />foot variance for distance between adjacent house and garage. Violation of Ord. <br />87-93, Section 1135.02-(c)l. <br />Chairman Bugala ca.lled all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Holian who advised that he is changing the request and is <br />asking for a 4 foot side yard variance. Mr. Bugala stated that he had a problem <br />with this pointing out that if the next door neighbor put up a fence there would <br />be no way he could maintain that side of the garage. Mr. Holian stated that he <br />did not want to obstruct his view to the rear yard. Mr. Bugala pointed out that <br />the lot is very deep and if he moved the garage back he would not be restricting <br />t.he view that much. after some discussion, the members agreed that a 3.foot side <br />yard would be more acceptable, but the distance between the house and garage <br />should conform. B. Grace moved to grant a 2 foot 0 inch side yard variance and <br />the variance for the distance between the house and garage is eliminated for <br />Stephen Michael Holian, 5914 Stearns Road, seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously <br />approved. Variance granted. 11. Mr. and Mrs. McGreavey, 24687 Tara Lynn. <br />Request for variance (112,3.12). Request 20 square foot area variance, 5 foot, 2 <br />inch height variance (from grade), and location variance for a gazebo (shed) on <br />deck. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.06(a). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. 'I'he oath was <br />administered to Mr. McGreavy, contractors, Mr. Dillon and Mr.Spears, and a <br />neighbor rlr. Dietrich. It was explained to Mr. Dietrich that the present codes <br />do not cover gazebos, so the standards of a shed are used and variances are <br />practically always required. Mr. Dietrich had no further comments. B. Grace <br />moved to grant the 20 square foot area variance, a 5 foot, 2 inch height <br />variance (from grade),. and a location variance for a gazebo (shed) on a deck, <br />for Mr. and Mrs. McGreavey, 24687 Tara Lynn, seconded by J. Helon, and <br />unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />4
