. . -, - v
drive) which fronts on Coltunbia Road. Mr. Ziegman explained the proposal to
Mr. Wilms and another neighbor. They had no objection to the request. R.
Bowen moved to approve the proposal to subdivide the lot of Sunset Memorial
Park lmown as parcel number 236-24-16, located on the east side of the
original Columbia Road north of Sunset Memorial Cemetery, into two (2)
parcels. Zoning is "A" Residence, single for both, entirely, seconded by M.
Betts, and tmanimously approved.
2) Great Northern Shopping Center, Plaza North and Plaza South Lot Adjustment.
The proposal is to re-align the existing property line between permanent
parcel numbers 235-27-1 and 235-27-10 (Great Northern Shopping Center, Plaza
North and South) to remove an existing building encroachment.
Location is the northeast area of the Victoria Lane/Country Club Blvd.
Intersection. Zoning is retail business, general, entirely, and the proposal
conforms the Zoning Code.
Mr. Papandreas, representing Great Northern, explained that this was merely a
lot adjustment between two adjoining landowners since one building of Plaza
South is encroaching on Plaza North's property. This realignment will rectify
the situation. City Engineer Deichmann stated,_ that there were no code
violations and the Engineering Department had no problem with this. Mr.
Papandres presented a site plan indicating exactly where the encroachment is.
L. Orlowski moved to approve the proposal to realign the existing property
line between permanent parcel number 235-27-1 and 235-27-10 of the Great
Northern Shopping Center Plaza North and South, seconded by J. Thomas, and
unanimously approved. It was clarified that there was an incorrect permanent
parcel on the linen which will have to be changed (the parcel numbers in the
motion are correct). Mr. Thomas reminded Mr. Papandreas that the signage
advising "Entering traffic does not stop" has not yet been installed at the
Brookpark Entrance of Great Northern. Mr. Papandreas stated that he was aware
that this has not yet been installed and is trying to get it completed.
V. COMM[JNICATIONS :
A letter from Mayor Boyle advising that since Mr. Bierman has not been re-
appointed to the Commission, another representative to the Landmarks
Commission must be appointed. It was decided to defer this appointment imtil
the next meeting.
VI. COMNIITTEE REPORTS:
The members will be meeting with the Mayor and the members of the Board of
Zoning appeals at 6:30 p.m. on February 12, 1991 to discu.ss the ma,ster plan
which the Planning Commission is now reqtiired by charter to submit every 4
years.
VII.
