He further stated <br />that the gas well mentioned by the Fire Department was going to be capped. The <br />Architectural Review Board had no objection to the plans. Mr. Skoulis is <br />concerned that the 3 foot doors are large enough to accommodate wheelchairs in <br />the event of a fire. Mr. Smith stated that the code only requires one 34 inch <br />door, and that they will ha.ve two 36 inch doors. City Engineer Deichmann <br />agreed that the doors conformed. R. Bowen moved to approve the proposal for a <br />pavilion at 26272 Butternut Ridge Road lmow as the Horizon's Center, with the <br />condition that Mr. Conway reviews these plans for the adequa.cy of the <br />parking,, and that it is also assumed by this motion that this proposal <br />complies with all of the:stipulations of the lease .between Horizons and the <br />-City. We also stipulate that if, in the future, any sign is required for this <br />parcel it must be reviewed by the Comnission, seconded by J. Thomas, and <br />unanimously approved. Mr. Bubelko advised tha.t if he finds any problem with <br />the lease he would forward his comments to the B.Z.D. Comittee. Mr. Smith <br />pointed out that this is a public building being built with public funds on <br />city land, and in order to receive these funds the City was required to review <br />this proposale <br />IV. The meinbers decided to table this proposal <br />since there are still unanswered questions. It was pointed out that this <br />proposal was scheduled for the Board of Zoning Appeals on February 13th. J. <br />Thomas moved to table the Shell Oil Company proposal until the second meeting <br />in February with the request that the Board of Zoning Appeals hold off their <br />consideration until the Planning Commission has had an opportunity to complete <br />their review, seconded by M. Betts, and Lmanimously approveda (It was decided <br />under New Business that this proposal could be returned to the Commission on <br />February 12th, the first meeting in February). <br />V.
