CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW MINUTES - MARCH 20, 1991 I. ROLL CALL: Chairwoman Case called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. Present: M. Case, T. Gallagher, Y. Sohn, and B. Zergott. Also Present: Clerk of Commissions Oring. II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: M. Case moved to approve the minutes of February 20, 1991 as presented, seconded by B. Zergott, and unanimously approved. III. SIGNS: Heard with building plans. IV. OLD BUSINESS: No items. V. IVEW BUSINESS: It was decided to hear proposal item number 2 first. 1) Office Warehouse, 4706 Great Northern Blvd. Renovation to store front and addition of leading dock on former Kiddie City tinit in Olmsted Plaza. Referred by Planning Commission March 12, 1991. Mr. Brown, owner, and Mr. Mongello, architect, presented.plans explaining that a truck dock will be addecl to the rear and the cedar shakes on the existing canopy will be removed and an antique white Armco roof panel will be a installed and extended about 20 feet. He explained that it will match the adjacent Rini's canopy, doors will be replaced but windows will remain. It was clarified that the window frames were an anodized clear finish and members agreed that these could not be painted to match Rini's. An existing trash compactor will be removed and the new in-ground truck dock will be a Stone Creek brick to match the existing. A signage plan Yiad be submitted and the Board had no objection as long as it meets code. T. Gallagher moved to approve the Office Warehouse proposal as presented, seconded by Y. Sohn, and unaniriously approved. 2) A Stone's Throw Apartment Project (formerly Shore West Apartments). Located. south of Brookpark Road, west of Clague Road, and adjacent to the rear property liens of lots an the north side of rlastick Road. Proposal to construct apartments. Referred by Planning Commission March 12, 1991. -1
