Mr. Gomersall stated
that he checked and this was not much further back than the adjacent houses.
Mr. Grace stated that the patio would be 7 feet from the edge of the house; is
not a solid wall; and maintains that, since one aariance was granted and this
is only a lateral move, there should be no objection. Mr. McKendry stated that
the tool shed they erected does not conform to the code since it is visible
from the street and is larger than allowed. Chief Buil3ing Inspector Sanker
stated that he had re-inspected the shed and it does conform. He stated that
it is 8 feet four inches, the shed is 8 feet and the foundation is 4 inches
which is allowed. Gallagher moved to grant the request for a 10 foot rear yard variance to
add to an existing enclosed patio, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously
approved. Variance granted. Mr. McKendry stated that he was going to ask for
another inspection on the shed.
3) William L. Previous variance
granted May 7. 1986 has expired.
PROPOSAL WILL BE HEARD BY BOARD OF BIJILDING CODE APPEALS ON MARCH 28, 1991
(Approval needed to build on a lot less than 50 feet wide).
Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board. The oath
was administered to Mr. and Mrs. Becka who explained.they wish.to build a.
house of the correct square footage; that the other homes on the street are
built into the front setback; they live in the house next door which also has
a 3 foot side yard variance and these 40 foot wide lots could not be developed
without a variance. Mr. Becka explained that the shed on the property would be
torn down. E. Gallagher moved to grant the request of Timothy and Lisa Beck,
property located north of 6017 Decker Road, for a 3 foot total side yard
variance and a 4 foot front set back variance (for front porch) to construct
new dwelling.
