<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES-APRIL 3, 1991 <br />Chairman Gomersall called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: E. Gallagher, B. Grace, J. Maloney, T. Restifo, and R. Gomersall. <br />Also Present: Law Director Gareau, Building Commissioner Conway, and Clerk of <br />Commissions Oring. <br />M. Grace moved to approve the minutes of March 6, 1991, seconded by J. Maloney, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />William Frigic, 29940 Lorain Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 850 square foot variance (this <br />includes a 400 square foot open patio). Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section <br />1135.02-(c)1. Variance which was denied at meeting of November 8, 1990 did <br />not include open patioe Request continued from meeting of March 6, 1991. <br />Chairman Gomersall called a11 interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />was administered to Mr. Frigic who explained that he needed this to store his <br />vehicles including his motor home which requires a 10 foot garage door. <br />The members had no objection to the request. E. Gallagher moved to grant the <br />850 square foot variance including the 400 square foot open patio, seconded by <br />T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />1. James M. & Susan R.-Piscitelli, 5650 Pheasants Walk <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 17 foot rear yard variance for deck. <br />Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.08(a). <br />No representative present. The request was heard later in the meeting. <br />2. GeorLye J. Tamas, 27944 Gardenia Drive <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 5 foot location variance from rear <br />property line for tool shed. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02-D. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Boaxd. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Tamas who explained that since the regulations had been <br />changed, sheds had to be 10 feet from the rear property line which he considers <br />wasted space. He would like his shed placed 1 foot beyond the 5 foot easement. <br />The members agreed. J. Maloney moved to grant the request for a 5 foot <br />location variance for tool shed, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously <br />approved. Variance granted. <br />3. Clayton W. Hauck, 3105 West 231 Street. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 4 foot location variance from rear <br />property line for tool shed. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02-D. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. Hauck who explained that he would like to place his <br />shed about 6 foot from property to minimize wasted space and to conform with <br />the existing setback of other structures in the neighborhood.
