.. . ?"?.. . !
!
enough room in the drive to park a car without projecting into the right of
way. Mr. Barber believed that he has more than.16 feet in the drive. Mr. Conway
would rather that he would get the variance for the rear yard,.because he would
need a miniminn of 18 feet for the drive. Mr. Grace suggested that if he did not
have 18 feet from the city's right of way to the front of the garage, that the
Board approve a 2 foot rear set back and a 3 foot side yard. It was clarified
that he was actually requesting a rear yard variance, not a side yard as stated
and the other would be side yard variance. B. Grace moved to grant the request
of Mr. Richard T. Barber for a 3 foot rear yard variance and also with the
stipulations that if the drive from the garage to the right of way is less than
16 feet, we will also grant a 2 foot side yard variance noting that 18 foot or
more would be needed for the drive, seconded by E. Gallagher, and unanimously
approved. Variance granted.
15. Walter and Rae Spalding, S/L 1 Oak Circle (Bradley Oaks Subdivision).
Request for variance (1123.12). Request 7 foot, 6 inch front yard and 25
foot rear yard variance to construct new dwelling.
