Mr. Conway explained that the Board granted several variances to Nutron Name
Plate in 1989 including a 2.7 foot side yard variance to maintain the existing
side yard with the addition..The variance expired and they returned to the Board,
but at tha.t time the architect showed the side yard at 20 feet which would
conform. They will ha.ve to ma.intain the existing side yard. Mr. Conway believed
that the intent of the Board was to grant the same variances over again. He
would like the Board to amend the mi.nutes of October 3, 1990 to reflect this
variance. The members agreed that they thought the variances were the same. Law
Director Gareau stated that amending the minutes would be acceptable. It was
clarified that this was for the rear addition. R. Gomersall moved to amend the
October 3, 1990 minutes as they pertain to Neutron Nameplate, 31269 Lorain Road
to reflect the August 2, 1989 variance for a 2.7 side yard variance for the rear
addition, second by B. Grace, and Lmanimously approvede
Chairman Gomersall stated that because the Council Chambers will be in use for a
special meeting on Wednesday, December 4th and because he will be out of town
that week, and a fifth member may not be appointed by then, the next meeting will
be held on Wednesday, December-11, 1991. The Board will not be meeting in January since it will be their vacation month.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
8
