, •?- , , .,
to include. Mr. Schultz read the issues to be considered regarding the
Crocker/Stearns Road Extension. Mr. Viskocil, representing the Pheasant's Walk
Home Owners' Association (west of the proposed road) explained that they have
gone on-record with the Council as to what their concerns are, some of which were
mentioned, but not all. Their letter does itemize all that were listed. Mr.
? Gorris asked if they could stay for a short while after the meeting and meet with
the representatives to go over these concerns. They would also -like to lmow.
exactly when this item will be discussed. Mr. Gorris is not sure when C.P.C. will
get back to this. Ms. Whitmore, representing the Forest Ridge Home Owners'
Association (east of the proposed road), would like to verify if the members have
received all information that the home owners have sent. For the record, she
wished to make a plea that the Planning Commission protect the residential and
suburban atmosphere that is left in the City, and stated that many residents do
not want the City lmown as a nice place to shop, but not to live in. She believed
that the Commission is addressing their concerns which in general would be,
safety, crime, intrusion. She wanted to verify that the Comaission did get the
information that was sent back to the county after the general meeting was held
regarding this, and pointed out that there is going to be a hearing on Ju1y 3rd
and plans will be set in concrete by then. The members discussed the focus areas,
Mr. Skoulis stated he listed the areas where developers would be putting pressure
on the City to rezone, areas that C.P.C. would not be aware of, those areas
should be discussed first; other areas, such as the Industrial Park, could be
discussed later. He does not want to limit the discussion to these areas alone.
Mr. Gorris asked the members to meet in an executive caucus and asked the
residents to meet with the C.P.C.
IX. ADJOURNrENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
C:a,
B. Gorris, Cha

D?
)ring, ',
5
