Bowen, and unanimously <br />approved. Mr. Gavin asked these approvals could be expedited since they are <br />working under time constraints. <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />A letter was received from Sign Gonsultants. Building Commissioner Conway <br />explained that this group has been hired by the local sign contractors <br />association to redo the sign ordinance. Mr. Gorris decided that this would have <br />to wait until September because of the amount of business before the Commission. <br />VI. COMNffTTEE REPORTS: <br />No items. <br />VII. NEG1 BTJSINESS : <br />The members decided to ha,ve a special meeting on Thursday; April 23th at 7:00 <br />p.m. in order to review the Moen proposal; and also to have a special meeting on <br />Monday, Ma.y llth. All meeti.ngs will start at 7:00 p.m. Lmtil the master plan <br />study is completed. <br />VIII. OLD BUSTNESS: <br />Building Commissioner Conway presented a revised rendering of Butternut Ridge <br />Apartments which is basically the same as originally presented, but do have some <br />minor changes. He explained that the roof structure would be the same, that the <br />sliding glass doors in the bedrooms are being replaced with the same size glass <br />windows. The members discussed the plans. and decided that these changes would be <br />acceptable. <br />Mr. Conway also asked if the Commission wanted to review a proposal to light. the <br />Woodscape Condomiriitun sign since they originally approved with the condition that <br />it not be lighted. It was decided to send this to the Architectural Review Board. <br />MY'. Conway explained that the Shell Oi1 station was originally approved as a <br />metal clad building, they have now constructed the building with a block wall on <br />the rear to conform with the fire codes and have requested merely to paint it to <br />match the mtal walls. It was decided that this should referred to the A.R.B. and <br />if they had no problem then it would be not have to return to the Conunission. <br />Habitat Wall Paper Store to be located on Great Northern Boulevard wants to <br />raise the fascia of one unit in a shopping center and re-face it with Dri-vit and <br />leave the remainder of the alumininn fascia as is. The Commission prefers to <br />review that proposal. <br />IX. ADJOURNMIIVT: <br />B.
