Deichmarm, City Engineer <br />FROM: Dave McDermott, Assistant City Engineer <br />RE: Sublot 300, South Porter Road <br />Drainage <br />A field check of S/L 300, and ad.jacent area, was made bp me on March * <br />10, 1992, approximatelp two (2) hours after a"medium to heavy" rainfall <br />of + 3 hour duration, and the follaWing conditions observed: <br />S/L 300 is grassed and appears fairly level, with a slight <br />fall towards the north; a large tree is in the middle of the <br />lot, with several smaller trees also on the lot. <br />No water or ponding was seen on S/L 300, or any adjacent or near <br />property. This included address nos. 5918 and 5938 (north and <br />south abutting properties), 5948 (Mitchell) and 5964 (Schimdt). <br />The front drain,age ditch of S/L 300 and the adjacent ditch <br />was holding 1" to 3" of water. . <br />Other surface areas (sidewallrs, tree lawns, pavement, etc.) were <br />free of anp water pockets or ponding. <br />Tao (2) garage dawnspouts at 5918 Porter (north abutting) appear to <br />be directing flow onto the rear portion of S/L 300. <br />Note that Mr. Mitchell and Ms. Schmidt `(2/27/92 minutes: Board of <br />Bu;lding Code Appeals) are not adjacent owners to S/L 300.
