Piar, and unanimously approved. <br />Building Commissioner Conway advised that he has been requested to approve an <br />addition to be a timber frame or post and beam construction. The contractor, a <br />member of the Timber Framers Guild of North America, has submitted complete <br />details and diagrams along with several references from other cities including <br />one from an engineer.who is a professor at the University of Cincinnati who has <br />worked with him. N1r. Conwa.y is eonfident that this contractor is competent. Mr. <br />Kazak suggested that Mr. Conway request a letter from the professor. Mr. Conway <br />stated that their organization is working toward setting specific standards. Mr. <br />Kazak stated that his company has moved several buildings constructed under this <br />method and he would have no problem approving it. Mr. Conway further advised that <br />they were-going to use a lminated styrofoam panel for the roof the standards of <br />which are being set at this time. There Yiave been other similar products which <br />have been approved and do meet the insulation requirements. Mr. Ka.zak and Mr. <br />Spoerke are familiar with this type of insnlation and have no problem with it. <br />The members have no problem with either issue. J. Kazak moved to approve the post <br />and beam construction and also the exterior styrofoam laminated roof and wall <br />material to be used in this construction, seeonded by D. Spoerke, and tmanimously <br />approved. <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS: <br />No items. <br />VII.
