<br />10, , <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF BUILDING CODE APPEALS <br />MINUTES-JULY 30, 1992 <br />I. ROLL GALL: <br />Vice chairman Kazak caTled the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: J. Kazak, W. Piar, B. Schulz, and D. Spoerke <br />Absent: R. Burk <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner Conway and Clerk of Commissions Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF AZINUTES: <br />J. Kazak moved to approve the minutes of April 26, 1992, April 30, 1992, and May <br />28, 1992 as typed, seconded by W..Piar, and unanimously approved. <br />III. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Ordinance 92-60 "Flooel Dat;iage Prevention" was given to the members. <br />Letters pertaining to the issue on the agenda, see below. <br />IV. HEARINGS: <br />1. James A. Miller, property located between 5938 and 5918 Porter Road. Request permission to construct dwelling on permanent parcel rnunber 235-14-59, <br />sublot 300, ("B" District, mininum lot frontage 70 feet). Hearing required by <br />Ord. 2806 (any house being building on a lot with a 50 foot front width or <br />less requires the approval of the Board of Building Code Appeals.) <br />Approval given by Board of Building Code Appeals on February 27, 1992 with <br />condition the the Engineeri.ng Department review the impact of this proposal <br />on the entire area. (Continued from meeting of Maxch 26, 1992.) <br />Variance was granted. by the Board of Zoning Appeals on Tria.y 6, 1992. <br />Vice Chairman Kazak admiriistered the oath to Richard Miller. He read letters <br />from Angelo Cammarato, Storm Sewer Superintendent (see attached) and fron Paul <br />Deichmann, City Engineer, to Building Commissioner Conway (see attached). The <br />members had a copy of the approved site plan which included an inlet on the <br />property. Several members ha.d viewed the site and stated that there did not seem <br />to lie any excess water on the property despite the heavy rains. The Board had <br />previously approved these plans contingent upon the approval of the Engineering <br />Department and the work being done on the ditches. There is no reason not to give <br />the final approval now. W. Piar moved to grant permission to Miller Brothers <br />Construction Company, to construct a house on permanent parcel 235-14-59, Porter <br />Road, seconded by D. Spoerke, and imanimously approved. - <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Building Commissioner Conway exqDlained that Ord. 92-60 was the revised o?rclinance <br />pertaining to the new flood plain map and includes some new definitions. <br />VI.
