D. Slezak stated that Dr. <br />Natesan had already agreed to a privacy fence, Dr. Natesan preferred a <br />see-through fence. Nir. Gomersall suggested that they discuss this privately. R. <br />Gomersall moved to grant to Dr. and Mrs. Natesan at 23746 Lorain Road, their <br />request for a 10 foot varianee for easternmost landscape buffer and a 1.5 <br />variance for westernmost landscape buffer and 7 foot variance for driveway to <br />convert house from residential to office use. Also to grant a variance to <br />subdivide existing lot at the zone line into two lots, one commercial and one <br />residential, and to grant a 12,300 square foot variance for area and a 90 foot <br />variance for frontage of the commercial lot, seconded by B. Grace, and <br />unanimously approved. Variances granted. <br />6. Jennifer's Convertibles, 26037 Lorain Road. (Heard at this point.) <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance to have 2 additional wall signs <br />(one allowed) and also request 17 square foot variance for excess sign area for a <br />business unit. Violation of Ord. 90-125,-Section 1162.12(a) and 1163.11(c). <br />Chairman Gomersall ca.lled a11 interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />adrAnistered to Mr. Bedar, representing the owners, Mr. Sheridan, and Mr. NLiller, <br />sign contractor. Mr. Bedar stated that originally these signs had been approved <br />with the proposal to renovate one building and to build an addition to another. <br />The original proposal showed three signs on the addition which is below grade on <br />Lorain Road, but the code have changed since this was approved. He presented <br />renderings of the signs. Mr. Conway agreed that these signs were on the original <br />plans, and that the codes have changedo Mr. Grace pointed out that these signs <br />are on the building, and not similar to those which Mr. Nashar objected which <br />«ere right on the road. Mr. Gomersall believed that this was an unusua.l <br />situation. W. Purper moved to grant the request to Jennifer's Convertibles, 26037 <br />Lorain Road, for a variance to have 2 additional wall signs (one allowed) and <br />also a 17 square foot variance for excess sign area for a business unit, seconded <br />by J. Maloney, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />Chairman Gomersall stated that the Corso's proposal was brought up at the end of <br />the meeting at which time the Board granted a 30 day grace period to erect the <br />fence and guardrail. He would now like to make a motion to amend the 30 day <br />period to 90 days from the opening date of the restaurant, seconded by B. Grace, <br />and tmanimously approved. <br />R.
