Variance granted. <br />3. F. L. Crider. 31512 Lorain Road. <br />Request for variance (1123,12). Request 3.33 (see below) side yard variance to <br />construct addition to non-conforming garage. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section <br />1135.02(c)a Also request special permit to add to non-conforming garage. Special <br />permit required Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02(b). <br />Chairman Gomersall called EL11 interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Crider.. Building Commissioner Conway corrected the request <br />which should have read a 1.67 foot side yard variance, there is a 3.33 foot side <br />yard existing. The members had no problem with this request. R. Gomersall moved <br />to grant the variance to Mr. F. L. Crider, 31512 Lorain Road, for a 1.67 foot <br />side yard variance to construct an addition to a non-conforming garage, and to <br />also grant a special permit to add to a non-conforming garage, seconded by J. <br />Maloney, and unanimously approvede Variance and special permit granted. <br />4m Neil Boyle, 3765 Columbia Ftoad. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 3 foot variance for distance between <br />dwellings to construct 2 story addition. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section <br />1135.07-(a). <br />Chairman Gomersall called a1.1 interested parties before the Boaxd. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Boyle and Mr. Lazor, contractor. Building Conunissioner Conway <br />explained that the actual ciistance is 15 feet, but they must masure the distance <br />parallel to the property line. It was noted that the adjacent property owner was <br />not present. J. Maloney moved to grant Neil Boyle, 3675 ColUmbia Road, a request <br />for a 3 foot variance f'or distance between dwellings to construct 2 story <br />addition, seconded by W. Purper, and Lmanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />5. George J. Peterman, 5149 East Park Drive . <br />Request for variance (1125.12). Request 40 square foot variance for area and 6 <br />inch variance for height of shed. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(d)-1 <br />& 3. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. and Mrs. Peterman. Mr. Gomersall stated that the problem <br />would appear to 1e with Terrace Construction Company since the contractor started <br />to build the shed without a permit. Mr. Peterman maintained that he is <br />constructing the shed himselfa Mr. Gomersall pointed out that the plans stated <br />Terrace Construction Company. Mr. Peterman reiterated that he is constructing it <br />himself. Building Commissioner Conway advised that a letter has been sent to Mr. <br />Peterman outlining some problems with the construction which will have to be <br />corrected before the shed is approved. Mr. Peterman stated that the shed will be <br />sided to match the house and it is away from the neighbors property. W. Purper <br />moved to grant George J. Peterman, 5149 East Park Drive, a 40 square foot <br />variance for area and a 6 inch variance for height of shed, seconded by R. <br />Gomersall, and imanimously approved. Variances granted. <br />6. Don and Cynthia Ballard, 5660 Allandale Drive. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 40 square foot variance for area and 4 <br />foot variance for location from rear property line to install shed. Violations of <br />Ord. 90-125, Section 1135„02(d)-1 & 4. <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. and Rfs.
