, <br />allows in Strongsville, but tmder the North Olmsted code there would be more like <br />5 units per acre. Mr. Skoulis explained that the View Point development was <br />approved at a higher densa_ty in order to preserve the golf course. Mr. Gorris <br />clarified that the Comnission is receptive to Single Family Cluster developments, <br />especially along Lorain Road instead of more strip centers. Mr. Basala stated <br />that 5 units per acre would be appropriate for their developments. He further <br />explained the various Single Family Cluster provisions in the Strongsville code <br />which has a rnunber of districts where cluster housing could be built. Mr. <br />Orlowski had no problem wit:h the appearance of the Units, only the density. Mr. <br />Basala suggested that the members look at their 'Iwinsburg development which is in <br />the 42 to 5 tmits per acre range and is probably more like what they would <br />develop in North 07.msted. He will submit site plans of some of these developments <br />to the Building Commissioner. <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS : <br />Building Commissioner Conway explained a minor change to the D. J. Glass <br />Company. The members had na problen with the renovations. <br />Chairman Gorris would like to amend the Rules and Regulations of P1arLning <br />Commission to change the time of the meeti.ng to 7:30 p.m. instead of 8:00 p.m. <br />Mr. Dubelko advised that that any amendment to these rules must be submitted to <br />the members in writing at least 5 days prior to the meeting where it wiil be <br />voted on. This amendment will be discussed at the next meeting. <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />View Point Development. Proposal for minor change. <br />Continued from meeting of February 23, 1993. <br />The members agreed that this change should really come back as a regular agenda <br />items. <br />IX. ADJOURNNMIIQT: <br />AZrs. Hughes, who has been appointed to the Commission, has advised that she <br />cannot start until the firsr meeting in April. <br />B.
