?
chapel at the north end of property with the recommendations of the A.R.B. and to
i.nclude that the four parking lot lights be on 10 foot poles, tha.t the site
lighting be subdued and not a wall washer type lighting and those lighting plans
should be presented to the Building Commissioner prior to the B.Z.D. meeting, and
also that the lights should be turned off after business hours with the exception
of the security lighting. It is our understanding that there will be continued
cooperation between the developer and the people across the street for shielding
their property from the car lights. It is to be noted that the Fire Department
stated that the proposal would have to meet the requirement of Chapter 1721 of
the North Olmsted Fire Fighti.ng Code, and noted that a hydrant might be required.
It should also be noted that the Commission was requiring these prints, because
of their concern about the negative effect on the adjacent area that washing of
the building with light would have and would like to see examples of more subdued
lighting as compared to the light on the existing chapel; seconded by B. Gorris,
and imanimously approved.
IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS:
1) Cleveland Electric Illtmiinating Company Assembly and Lot Split Plat,
Resubmission.
The proposal is to combine and re-subdivi-de a11 or part of Permanent Parcel Nos.
237-5-1, 237-5-3, 237-5-23 and 237-7-18 into two (2) parcels. This revised
proposal was originally reviewed by Planning. Commission on January 12, 1993.
Proposal was tabled at the Planning Conunission meeting of March 9, 1993.
This proposal ha.s been withdrawn by the developer imtil the next meeting.
2) Haeberle Subdivision.
The proposal is to subdivide Permanent Parcel No. 234-12-14, located on the west
side of South Barton Road, into two (2) sublots. Zoning is "A" Residence, Single,
entirely, and both proposed sublots conform to Zoning Code requirements for
frontage and area. Note that a proposal to subdivide this same parcel into three
(3) sublots was heard and disapproved by Plann-ir,g Commission on October 8, 1991.
It was clarified that there was a single family dwelling on one parcel which
will remain and a11 setbacks conform to code and the ad jacent vacant parcel will
also conform. No adjacent residents were present. L. Orlowski moved to approve
the Haeberle Subdivision to subdivide Permanent Parcel no. 234-12-14 loeated on
the west side of South Barton Road, into two (2) Sublots. It is our understanding
that both of these lots conform and the house is within all required setbacks so
there is no reason not to approve this, seconded by B. Gorris, and unanimously
approved.
V. COMMCTNICATIONS :
Cuyahoga County Planning Commission sent.a sample of a resolution adopting the
North 0].msted Master Plan and a copy of an actual resolution adopting the
Garfield Heights Ma.ster Plan. At this poi.nt members discussed having a special
meeting to discuss the Master Plan and the presentation to Council. After some
discussion, it was decided that the niembers would study the plan individually and
submit any coments or questions for the April 13th meeting, at which time it
will be decided when the special meeting will be held. Copies of all these
doctunents will be made for the members and the Assistant law Director.
VI. COMNBTTEE REPORTS: ..
Site plans for two of the Whitlateh Development had been presented to the
3
