1.. <br />8. Mihai Lupu,.6185 McKenzie. <br />Request 15 foot variance for distance between addition and detached garage <br />(.addition will be constructed to abut existing detaehed garage). Violation of <br />Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(c)(2). <br />Chairman Gomersali called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mrs. Lupu who explained that the addition would be 3 feet away <br />from the garage which is existing. They will be constructing the addition on an <br />PXlsting slab. She elarified that the addition would not touch the garage and <br />would be about 3 feet away. Mr. Koberna pointed out that the garage was concrete <br />block and would not require fireproofi.ng. Mrs. Lupu did not know if there were <br />footers under the slab. Mr.. Graee cautioned that footers would have to be added <br />if there were none. T. Koberna moved to grant the request of Mihai Lupu, 6185 <br />McKenzie Road, for a 12 foot variance for distance between addition and detached <br />garage (the addition will be constructed to be no closer than 3 foot from <br />PXjsting detached garage), seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously approved. <br />Variance granted. <br />9. Daniel and Brenda Mancuso, 5295 Whitehaven Ave. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 5 foot rear set ba.ck variance for shed <br />which was installed in wrong location (permit was issued for a conforming <br />location). Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.02(d)(4). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath was <br />administered,to Mrs. Mancuso and J. Simmons, Jr., representing his parents who <br />live ne.xt door. The shed was installed at that location because the ground was <br />more level.-Mr. Simmons stated that his parents had no objection to the location. <br />J. Maloney moved to grant to Daniel and Brenda Mancuso, 5295 Whitehaven Avenue, <br />for a 5 foot setback variance for shed which was installed in the wrong location, <br />seconded by B. Grace, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />10•. Moen Inc., 25300 A1 Moen Drive. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 1 foot, 10 inch height variance to put <br />logo an canopy. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1163.12(d). <br />Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. - The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Wagner, sign contraetor. It was clarified that this is only <br />for a logo on a canopy. The members had no objection to the request. B. Grace <br />moved to grant the request for a varianee for Moen Inc., 25300 A1 Moen Drive, for- <br />a 1 foot, 10 inch height variance to put logo an canopy, seconded by T. Koberna, <br />and unanunously approved. Variance granted. <br />Mr. Gomersall asked if any of the members present had any objection to the next <br />meeting being held the last Wednesday in January since he will not be available <br />the first Wednesday in February. Mr. Koberna and Mr. Grace will both be gone for <br />the last week in January and the first week in February. After some discussion, <br />it was decided to hold the meeting on January 19th. It would not be posgible to <br />reschedule the regular January -meeting and take February as a vacation month <br />since some applicants ha.ve already been told the January meeting is cancelled and <br />they wi11 probably wait until the February deadline to file.
