11. Joe & Sue Defife, 6040 Paisley.Drive. Request for variance (1123.12). Request 6 foot rear yard variance to construct addition and deck. Violation of Ord. 9.0-125, Section 1135.08(b)(2). Chairman- Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered to Nir. Defife, arid Mr. Frye, eontractor. Mr. Defife stated that this would be a year round enclosure with windows and screens. The members had no guestions. B. Grace moved to grant the request of Joe and Sue Defife for a 6 foot rear yard variance to construct ari addition and deck, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unan;mously approved. Variance and special permit granted. 12. Gabe Slezak, 27190 Glouchester Drive. Request for variance (1123.12). Request 20 foot average rear yard vari:ance to construct patio enclosure. Violation of Ord. 90-125, Section 1135.08(b)(2). Also request special permit to add to non=conforming dwelling. Special permit required Ord. 90-125, Section 1165.02(b)(1). Variance granted 9/2/92 for existing addition. . Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the board. The oath'was admiriistered to Mro Slezak arid Mr. Jack, contractor. Mr.. Gomersall noted that this property backs up to the school aricl the lot is an odd shape. The members have no problem with the request. T. Koberna mved to.grant the request of Gabe Slezak, 27190 Glouchester Drive, for a 20: foot average rear yard variance to construct patio enclosure. Also :a special permit to add to a non-conforming dwelling, seconded by J. Maloney, and-unanimously approved. Variance and special permit granted. 'Clark Oil, 28925 Lorain Road. (REVISED) Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance to have two prohibited signs on canopy (7 square feet each).' Also request 42.0 square foot variance for total sign area allowed for a business use. Violations of Ord. 90-125, Sections 1163.12(j) and 1163.11(a). Continued from meeting of August 4, 1993. The representative was still not present. Mr. Koberna noted that the signs are already on the canopy and are very small. Building Commissioner Conway advised that these signs are pre-printed on'-the canopy panel, however, they can replace them with a blank panel. Mr.;, Kbberna stated that they are small bu1Ts eye type signs. It was decided to vote on-this instead of continuing it another month. J. Maloney moved to grant the request of Clark Oil, 28925 Lorain Road, for a variance to ha.ve two prohibited signs ori a eanopy (7 square feet ea.ch) and also to grant a 42 square foot variance for total sign area allowed for a business use, seconded by T. Koberna, -and i:ma.n;mously approved. Variances granted. Due to the elections, the November meeting has been changed to Thursclay, November 4, 1993. The meting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
