NEW DEVIIAPMQNTS AND SUBDNISIONS :
1) Dennis and Georgene Carlton Subdivision,
The proposal is to subdivide permanent parcels no. 234-18-21 location is on the
south side of Vita Lane (east off Barton Road) and owned by the city of North
Olmsted, into three (3) buildable lots. Zoning is B- Residence, Single, entirely
and the proposal conforms to the Zoning Code requirements for frontage and area.
Tabled at the meeting of April 12, 1994.
City Engineer Deichmann advised that it was his understanding that the Law
Director's questions had been answered. Mr. Andreano, engineer, presented plans.
No neighbors were present and the members had no questions. B. Thomas moved to
approve the subdivision of permazzent parcel numbers 234-18-21 on the south side
of Vita Lane into three (3) buildable lots, seconded by P. Miller. During the
framing of the motion, Mra Deichmarm clarified that the city did own the lots but
there had been an agreement between the city and the pa.rties originally involved
in this transaction that if the city did not use the property it would be deeded
back to the original developers. This transaction is a result of that original
agreement. A representative of developers, Gity Line Estates, explained the
agreement, that if the city did not use the property as a park, it would revert
to them. Fifteen years ago, it was decided not to use it, but it was not sold at
that time.
