The Sea Of Leaniing Day Care Center is now located at 26700 Brookpark Extension and would
like to move to a unit in retail strip center across the street, but they will need a conditional use
permit to do this and permission to fence in a playground area. This would be similar to the Child
View situation. They will be using a grassy area for their playground which is behind the medical
building facing Dover Center Road. Mr. Bruscino, the owner of the medical building, has given
permission. However, the children would still have to cross a 20 foot drive in the rear to get to
the playground. Since several of the members were not happy with a Child's View, they would
like to look at tlus prior to making a decision.
In reference to the temporary capachino stand on Lorain Road, the owner would like to install a
hut or kiosk for a drive up facility to sell coffee and also to market his equipment and the building.
If he sells one uuit he will then install another one and so on. The members believed that this
should come before them far a formal review. Building Commissioner Conway advised that he
has already dug out a 12 by 46 foot area for parking and intends to put in a pad on which to install
the hut. Mr. Conway refused to give him a permit for the 12 by 46 foot pad, but did allow him to
put in gravel for safety since there could be a danger to the children who come to the dance studio
in the building on tlus same property. The members gave permission to give him a permit to pave
the one pad.
VIII. NEW BUSINESS:
No items.
fX. OLD BUSINESS:
No items.
X.
